Commission Requests
If you're searching for a unique and personalized piece of art, you're in the right place! Valarie offers commissioned art pieces that are custom-made according to your preferences. All artwork is hand burned.
To get started, send a commission request to ValarieConnellArt@gmail.com. Please include the following details:
Your name and contact information
The size and orientation of the piece
Type of material you want your burning on (basswood, birch, watercolor paper, etc.)
The subject matter of the artwork
If color is to be added, the preferred medium for the color (watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, etc.)
Your time frame for the project, if you have one. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for delivery.
Once your request is received Valarie will respond promptly with a basic quote for your one-of-a-kind piece. We can discuss any revisions or alterations you'd like to make to ensure that your artwork perfectly captures your vision. The pyrography process (transfer & burning) doesn't begin until you have given final approval of the pattern in writing, a signed contract, and a 50% non-refundable deposit paid. This deposit does apply to the final price once the piece is completed. Delivery and or shipping occurs once the other 50% of the final price is paid.
